I love music. Beethoven, Bowie, Chopin, Nina Simone, Starship, Journey, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Guns n’ Roses, Lord Huron, Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie, Aurora… old songs and new, my list goes on forever.
Though much of my repertoire is pop/rock covers, I continue to develop a diverse repertoire including, but not limited to:
- Calming Classical
- Contemporary Instrumental
- Celtic Melodies
- Mellow Folk & Indie
- Traditional Wedding
- Classic Rock
- 80’s Pop & 90’s Alternative
This diversity of songs arranged with a mellow twist allows me to play recognizable, crowd-pleasing favorites without commanding the attention of a headline act. The result is a fresh and comforting music atmosphere.
A Note About Jazz: While I do have a few standards in my pocket, it’s not my strongest genre, so if you’re looking for a jazz pianist to riff all night, I’m probably not the right fit.

I started playing piano at four years old and never wanted to stop. After years of lessons and classical competitions throughout high school and working my way through college as an accompanist, I found my musical home in Los Angeles playing percussive keyboard in an acoustic-indie-folk band named Lowlight Music. In 2013 I relocated to the Pacific Northwest, where I now live with my husband, my daughter, and our sweet german shepherd. I play out locally in Vancouver and Portland.
Though influenced by the full and percussive playing styles of performers like Ben Folds, Elton John, and Tori Amos, I am constantly inspired by music that usually has no piano in it’s original composition. I am constantly exploring and finding new goals for my pieces, and of course, working on new piano covers, trying to capture the beauty of a new favorite song.
The transportive and healing nature of piano music cannot be underestimated, in my opinion, and it is something I love to share with people of all ages and walks of life.
